The bungalow at 43 Bbescapes in Merthyr Tydfil was absolutely lovely! It had its own private entrance, which made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. The kitchen was perfect for cooking up some meals, and the electric kettle was a nice touch for a nice cuppa. Plus, there was a bathroom with a shower, so no need to wait for someone else to finish. As a guest who values privacy and convenience, this bungalow ticked all the boxes for me!
My only minor complaint was that there was only one bathroom in the bungalow. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

The location of this holiday home is ideal for exploring the Brecon Beacon area, with only a 15-minute drive to the pen y fan peak and waterfall trails. the house itself has a unique, cottage-like appearance, giving it a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. the outdoor setting is also wonderful, perfect for enjoying barbecues on the terrace.
The bedrooms in this holiday home were a bit small, especially for larger groups, and lacked sufficient storage space.

I had a blast fishing, canoeing, and playing darts in this holiday home. The garden and water sports facilities were top-notch. And free WiFi? Oh, please, how can I resist?
Can you believe they only provided one towel? How am I supposed to pamper myself with just one fluffy towel?

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning property in the Brecon Beacon area. The cottage felt like a cozy home away from home, with fresh milk and Welsh cakes awaiting our arrival. It was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was lovely and the views of Merthyr from the top were breathtaking. Parking was never an issue, and the hosts were fabulous, providing us with helpful local information and suggestions. The property was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the quirky touches added to its charm. The location was convenient for exploring the Beacons and other areas nearby. I highly recommend this property for its brilliant little touches and fantastic layout.
While some areas of the kitchen were not cleaned to the highest standard mentioned in the guide book, it was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the steep approach to the property and potential parking challenges on the narrow streets could pose a slight inconvenience for some.

Our family of four, along with our two dogs, had a delightful stay at 43 Bbescapes. The house was the perfect size for us and the outdoor space was lovely, even though we didn't get to use it much due to the rain. We appreciated that all the essentials like tea, coffee, towels, and toiletries were provided, as well as some yummy welcome biscuits. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the folder with local information was very helpful. We also enjoyed the fluffy towels and the great little outdoor terrace with solar lights for evening drinks.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at a charming cottage in the Brecon Beacon area and we were pleasantly surprised by 43 Bbescapes. The cottage had a warm and homely atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and we were greeted with fresh milk and delicious Welsh cakes upon arrival. The beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was lovely and the outside space at the back of the property was a hit with the kids. We also appreciated the helpful and friendly hosts who provided us with great local recommendations for pubs and takeaways. The parking situation was surprisingly easy, with ample space outside the cottage.
Although the bedrooms were a bit small for our family of five and lacked storage space, this was a minor drawback. Additionally, the bed frame in the master bedroom was quite noisy, making it creak loudly with every movement.

Our stay at 43 Bbescapes was fantastic! The location was ideal for exploring the Brecon Beacons and the house itself had a charming cottage feel. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with local recommendations and even welcoming us with fresh milk and Welsh cakes. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. We also enjoyed the outdoor space for barbecues. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this property.
Although the bathroom being downstairs was not ideal, it is understandable due to the nature of a Welsh cottage. The outdoor space being accessed by steep stone steps was a minor inconvenience, especially at night or for those with mobility issues.
